It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gilbert Allan Cavins (Lewis Center, Ohio), who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Cavins and Helen Cavins. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Dan Cavins, Susan MacLeod (Mike MacLeod), Tim Cavins (Lauren Cavins) and Paul Cavins; his grandchildren, Anne Lozano (Brittany Thompson), Matt MacLeod, Elizabeth MacLeod, David Cavins (Betania Cavins), Katie Cavins and Sarah Cavins; and his great grandchildren, Adam Lozano and Luna Cavins.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Inurnment Resurrection Cemetery (9571 N High St, Lewis Center, OH 43035).
