He was predeceased by: his mother Celeste LeFevre (Denton R. Garwood); his son Dana S. Garwood; his brother Denton Garwood (Barbara); his stepson George M. Killilea Jr.; his stepgrandson Patrick S. Killilea; and his brother-in-law Roger Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon E. Garwood (Gibson); his grandson Matthew Garwood; his stepchildren, Christine Monahan (Michael), Margaret Killilea, William Killilea, Suzana Killilea and Kevin Killilea; and his sister-in-law Molly Gibson. He is also survived by his 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
