He was predeceased by: his father Charles Schroeder; his children, Dwaine and Glen Schroeder; and his siblings, Marcellus Schroeder (Mary), Paul Schroeder (Lucille), James Schroeder (Norma), Robert Schroeder, Albert Schroeder (Sylvia), Lucille Aelker (Bill), Florence Otto (Wilbert), Alice Otto (Lewis), Anna Marie Warnecke (Aloysius) and Mary Jane Rieman (Elmer).
He is survived by: his wife Florence Hermiller; his children, Jean Ann Kenney (Anthony) of Dayton, Carol Bockrath (Dennis) of Kalida, Victoria Schroeder (Dale) of Columbus Grove, Charles Schroeder (Tammy) of Leipsic, Gary Schroeder (Keek) of Leipsic, Jan Leis (James) of Miller City and Jodi Reeder (Corey Gilbert) of Greenwood, Indiana; and his sister Lou Ann Hermiller. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren.
