Sara Mata Obituary
The memory of Sara Mata of Leipsic, Ohio, who passed away on April 25, 2025 at the age of 76, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Acevedo and Jesusa Acevedo (Casas); and her daughter Dianna Mata. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Carrillo of Texas, Jose Mata of Columbus, Esmeralda Lucero of Columbus, Noraelia Elizarraga of Leipsic, David Mata of Columbus, Veronica Mata of Leipsic and Rebeca Giron of Leipsic. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; five brothers; and one sister.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Life Pentecostal Church.
