Reta Sadowy Winkler Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Reta Sadowy Winkler of Leipsic, Ohio, who passed away on January 1, 2021 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Reta Sadowy Winkler to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Williamson and Catherine Williamson (Willis); her former husband Chester Sadowy; her husband Donald Winkler; her siblings, Telford Williamson, Delores McIntire and Lila Williamson; and her nephew Larry McIntire.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Sadowy (Beverly) of North Street, MI, Catherine Staples (Lynn) of Sandusky, MI and John Sadowy (Cindy) of Applegate, MI; her grandchildren, Brent Sadowy (Alison), Kevin Sadowy (Lauren), Ryan Sadowy (Erinn), Rebeccalynn Devine (Ed), Dwayne Staples (Lee) and Derrik Staples; her great grandchildren, Milla, Alexander, Dominic, Gavin, Stephen, Rachel, Mitchell, Avalyn, Josh and Opal; her sister-in-law Jean Sadowy of Applegate, MI; and her close friend Betty Knott of Columbus Grove.

In keeping with social distancing guidelines, visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Putnam County Hospice or Marlette Hospice.
