She was predeceased by: her mother Maxine M. Wittenmyer (Tefft); her daughter Lisa Berger Kitchen; her brothers, Darl "Blue" Wittenmyer and Ed Wittenmyer; and her sister-in-law Florence "Flo" Wittenmyer (Don Berger).
She is survived by: her husband John E. Berger; her daughters, Tonia Larson (Tim) of Burlington and Pam Niese (Tim) of Glandorf; her grandchildren, Nick Larson (Danielle) of Mediapolis, Matt Larson (Amy) of Troy, Jessica Schnipke (Joe) of Kalida and Melody Lehman of Ottawa; her great grandchildren, Braxton Larson, Cian Atwater, Jaxon Hunter and Lillian Schnipke; her siblings, Anthony Wittenmyer (Patricia) of Tiffin, Scott Wittenmyer (Carol) of North Baltimore, James "Jim" Wittenmyer of Spencerville and Martha Lindquist (Ed) of North Baltimore; and her sister-in-law Brenda Wittenmyer of Deshler.
