James Maas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Maas of Leipsic, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Maas and Ann Maas (Roebke); his children, Jody Maas and Andrew James Maas of Pandora; and his brothers, John Maas and Gary Maas.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Niese; his children, Jeremy Maas of Gilboa and Heather Alt (Nathan) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Faith Butler, Ali Maas, Liam James Alt and Josie Lynn Alt; and his sister Darlene Brown (Ray) of Lima. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with social distancing, visitation will be from 4-8 p. m. Wednesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic as well as one hour prior to the funeral at St. Mary's Parish Life Center.
Memorial donations may be made to the church.
