She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Searfoss and Lily Searfoss (Stevenson); her husband James Shoemaker; her son-in-law Jim Vollmuth; and her siblings, Varyl, Ronald, Woodrow Searfoss, Mildred Hook, Marjorie Shoemaker, Norma Dewar and Esther Lieb.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Vollmuth of Pioneer and Darl Shoemaker of Leipsic; and her grandchildren, Angie Bexten (Michael) of Apex, NC, Laura Haas (Richard) of Pioneer, Beth Houk (Ryan) of Montpelier, Brad Siebeneck (Jamie) of Pioneer, Kim Bonner of Deshler and Jim Shoemaker (Deanna) of Malinta. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
