He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman and Josefa Garcia, Sr. (Garzoria); and his siblings, Maria Guadalupe Garcia, Paula Garcia Aguilar, Fidencia Garcia Velez, Maria Concepcion Garcia Gonzalez and Macario Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Martinez; his children, Reynaldo Garcia of Chicago, IL, Irma Sustaita (Raymond) of Chicago, IL, Javier Garcia of Chicago, IL, Francisco Garcia, Jr. of Leipsic, Norma DeLaRosa (Dan) of Leipsic and Carlos Garcia of Leipsic; his grandchildren, Sara Sustaita (Jerame Hicks), Jaime Sustaita (Melissa), Amanda Alexander (Philip), Gabriele Garcia, Adrian Elijah Garcia, Daniel Jacob DeLaRosa, Sonovia Eve DeLaRosa, Miranda Marie DeLaRosa, Allison Kay Garcia and Roman Xavier DeLaRosa; his great grandchildren, Bianca Sustaita, Jaime R. Sustaita, Jacob M. Sustaita, Andrew R. Hicks and Jacklyn G. Hicks; and his siblings, Esther Garcia Lopez of Leipsic and Roman Garcia, Jr. of Brownsville, TX..
