He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Kuhlman and Mary Kuhlman (Hermiller); his wife Sharon A. Elchinger; his daughter Ann Marie Salisbury; and his brother-in-law Steve Noirot.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Ann Kuhlman of Avon and Gina Ann Kuhlman of Cleveland Heights; his son-in-law Rob Salisbury (Christine) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Christina Negray, Gianna Kuhlman Miller, Isaac Salisbury, Tyson Salisbury, Emily Payer, Joey Payer and Kyle Payer; and his siblings-in-law, Margie Noirot of Wauseon, June Rose of Ft. Wayne, IN and Ken Elchinger (Paula) of Glandorf.
