He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Niese and Marcella Niese (Kreinbrink); his sister Henrietta Otto; and his brothers-in-law, Leo Otto, Robert Dulle, Lambert Verhoff and Harold Karhoff.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Olsen; his children, Brad Niese (Sandra) of Columbus, MI, Benjamin Niese of Ottawa, Andrew Niese (Laura) of Pandora and April Chavez of Leipsic; his grandchildren, Morgan Chavez, Austin Niese, Mya Chavez, Brayden Niese and Trenton Niese; and his siblings, Arthur Niese (Dorothy) of Leipsic, William Niese (Helen) of Leipsic, Bernard Niese (Florence) of Leipsic, Louann Dulle of Edon, Evelyn Verhoff of Ottawa, Lucille Morman (William) of Columbus Grove and Rosella Karhoff of Ottawa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Church, Leipsic.
