She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph Rance; and her sister Shirley Justice. She is survived by: her parent Jennie Girard Rance; her husband Edwin Shaffer; her children, Denise Muniz (Ray), Pam Hogue of Leetonia, Lorrie Malone (Larry) of Lisbon, Jim Shaffer (Michele) of Lisbon, Arthur Shaffer of Lisbon and David Shaffer (Marla Burgess) of Lisbon; and her siblings, Carmella Whinnery (Bob) of Leetonia, Josephine Whinnery of Lisbon, John Rance (Karen), Jim Rance of Leetonia and Paul Rance (Dawn) of Columbiana. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
