David Jacob Goerig Obituary
The memory of David Jacob Goerig of Leetonia, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 66, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis L. Goerig Jr. and Helen Haus Goerig; and his siblings, Francis Leo Goerig III, Wayne W. Goerig, Jayme J. Goerig and Karen Goerig Everhart.
He is survived by: his significant other Elizabeth A. Hall; his children, Jason A. Goerig (Melissa) of Charlotte, NC, Valerie R. Goerig D'Eramo (Nicholas) of Columbus, Emily L. Goerig of Columbiana and Phillip D. Goerig (Tara) of Imperial, PA; his grandchildren, Olivia, Dexter, Logan Goerig, Ruth, Joan and Heath D'Eramo; his stepgrandchildren, Lydia and Henry Deutsch; his siblings, Kathryn Goerig Eastlake (David) of Sandusky and Raymond P. Goerig (Leslie Weidensee) of Dayton; his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Goerig of Dana Point, CA and Ron Everhart; and also, Joseph Hall, Jr. (Veronica) of Leetonia and Jeanne Workinger of Cape Coral, FL.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home (28 N Main St, Columbiana, OH 44408). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
