He was predeceased by: his parents, John Knight and Lila Marie Knight (Easterday); his former wife Helen L. Knight; his siblings, John Harvey Knight, Ruby Gartrell, Ruth Culler, Priscilla Housel, Treva Naomi Knight, Margaret M. Knight and Edna Mae Knight; and his granddaughter Shelby Knight.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Garza (Juan) of Amory, Lila Booth (Billy) of Sherrodsville, OH, Ronnie D. Riley of North Carolina, Thomas Knight of Middletown and Benjamin Owen Knight of Martins Ferry, OH. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
