He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Marie (Brown) and James A McMannamy Sr.; and his brother Clyde. He is survived by: his wife Emma McMannamy (Sell); his children, Jerry Jr. McMannamy (Sharon) of West Jefferson, Faith McMannamy of Leesville and Hope McMannamy of Charleston; his grandson Conner McMannamy of West Jefferson, Ohio.; his daughter Patricia Minerd; his brothers, James and Roy; and his former spouse Charie Urban. He is also survived by previous marriage, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions honoring his memory may be made to the Carroll or Tuscarawas County Genealogical Societies and the Conotton Valley High School Band.
