She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Sonner and Opal Sonner (Fender); her husband Harold Richard Adams; and her daughter Karen Sue Adams. She is survived by: her children, Craig Adams (Kim) of Leesburg, Kevin Adams (Melissa) of Mandeville and Kim Adams of Leesburg; her grandchildren, Chelsey Pedersen (Mike), Ashley Kasler (Brent) of Millfield, Tyler Adams (Becca) of Covington, Ian Adams of Toledo and Blake Adams of Leesburg; and her great grandchildren, Carson Pedersen, Clayton Pedersen, Ellie Pedersen, Karlee Kasler, Adam Kasler, Jett Kasler, Molly Adams, Sarah Jane Adams, Jack Adams and Charles Adams.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hillsboro Church of Christ (155 W Walnut St, Hillsboro, OH 45133). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery - Leesburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's name to the Hillsboro Church of Christ, 155 W. Walnut Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
