He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery B. "Slim" and Mildred Opal Purdom (Pollard); and his sister Geneva Slusher. He is survived by: his wife Jeanetta Highley; his children, Joshua Highley (Lacy) of Hillsboro and Mallory McGlone (Roy) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Hayden, Hannah, Hallie McGlone, Gracelynn, Macie and Emery Highley; and his siblings, Kenny Purdom (Beverly) of Hillsboro, Jerry Purdom (Cora) of New Vienna, Daryl Purdom of Hillsboro, Debbie Sellman (Bill) of Hillsboro, Margie Lind (Duane) of Hillsboro, Judy Thery (John) of Hillsboro, Sandy Waddell of Hillsboro and Peggy Purdom of Hillsboro. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
