He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lawson and Zelma Hughes Lawson; and his children, Patricia Lawson, Jeffrey and Timothy Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rapp Lawson; his son Craig Lawson (Lindsey) of Leesburg; his grandchildren, Carson Lawson, Aaliyah Lawson, Averi Lawson and Bexlee Lawson; and his brothers, James Lawson (Kelsey) of Merritt Island and Eugene Lawson of Stokesdale, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
