He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carl and Nellie Pearl Barrett (Lieurance); his wife Clara Ann Barrett (Henson); and his siblings, Helen Barrett, Carol Ann Barrett, Eileen Morrow, John Barrett, Ben Barrett and Harry Barrett.
He is survived by: his children, Robert D. "Bobby" Barrett of Leesburg, Steve Barrett of Leesburg, Debbie Henize (John) of Lynchburg, Keith Barrett (Sherry) of New Vienna and Sandy Fenner (Chris) of Leesburg; his grandchildren, Jason Sowders of Leesburg, Melanie Hamilton (J. D.) of Hillsboro, Michelle Van Winkle (Nathan) of Leesburg, Nick Barrett (Gretchen) of Huntersville, Brooke Fenner of Leesburg, Kristen Huston (Byron) of Aberdeen, Brock Barrett (Megan) of Columbus, Karee Barrett of Michigan, Bradley Dunn of Delaware and Jessica Willoughby of Wilmington; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Clara, Raegan, Justin, Halle, Emma, Hannah, Launa, Lyla, Heath, Jaxon, Maddox, Ella, Elias, Jase, Lane, Gary Wayne and Xander; and his sister-in-law Sally Barrett of Greenfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
