She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Eugene Miller and Martha Lee Reed Miller; her spouse Johnnie Thompson; and her brother Paul Miller. She is survived by: her children, Faith Thompson of Leesburg and David Waits of Hillsboro; her grandchildren, Brittany Waits of Hillsboro, Shania Thompson (Austin May) of Leesburg and Austin Thompson of Leesburg; and her great grandchild Johnnie May. She is also survived by several cousins and friends.
