She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterley Newman and Anna Newman (Smalley); and her siblings, Robert Newman, Wilma Lightner (Newman), Ronald Newman, Edwin Newman, Della Linkhart (Newman), Ruth Moore (Newman) and Stephen Newman.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer Highley; her daughters, Kim Fife (Kenny), Tammy Reser (Merrill), Marianna Bennett and Jo Highley (Ron); and her grandchildren, K. J. Fife (Erin), Kassie Fife (Kitana Cantrell), Keith Fife (Taylor), Clint Crabtree (Billie), Lindsey Adams, Vanna Adams (Tyler), Dacoda Bennett (Ericka), Lucas Dietrich (Savanna), Mallory McGlone (Roy) and Josh Highley (Lacy). She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
