We bid farewell to James Washburn of Leesburg, Ohio, born in Chillicothe, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 25, 2024 at the age of 79. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Washburn and Audrey Washburn (Dotson); and his son Andy Washburn. He is survived by: his wife Mary Washburn (Koehl); his daughters, Amy Washburn of Chillicothe and Amber Washburn Carr of Minden, Louisiana; his stepchildren, Megan Carter Shirden of Cincinnati and James Mathew Carter (Brynna Boone) of Hillsboro; and his siblings, Terry Washburn (Ruth Anne) of Greenfield, Dennis Washburn (Ikuko) of Hanover and Susan Long (Danny) of Leesburg. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
