He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ryan and Hazel Ryan (Chaney); his brother Francis Ryan (Bud); and his siblings-in-law, Jack and Virginia Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Walker Ryan; his children, Brenda Ryan Poczatek, Kris Ryan, Shannon Ryan Hampton (Roscoe), Shellie Ryan Cunningham (Todd) and Patrick Ryan (Katie); his grandchildren, Tyler, Morgan Poczatek, Maggie Pat, Maura Donahue, Jackson, Paul Cunningham, Beau, Cora and Gus Ryan; his sister Dorothy Ryan Smith (Leroy); his nieces and nephews, Eddie Smith, Jimmy Smith and Sharon Welch; and his sister-in-law Nancy Walker Garcia (family: Jacalyn Walker, Betty Ann Walker).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Highland United Methodist Church.
