James Prater Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Prater (Leesburg, Ohio), born in Maysville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 21, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Loyd and Hattie Ruth Prater (Boyd); and his siblings, Larry Prater and Deanna Shoffstall. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Prater (Sweet); his sons, James Eric Prater (Michelle) of Leesburg and Mitchell Prater (Kara) of Fuquay-Varina, N. C.; his granddaughter Mae Lei Prater; and his siblings, Barry Prater (Elaine) of Winchester and Candee Culp of West Union. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
