He is survived by: his wife Jeannette "Jay" Newland; his children, Corrinne Newland Ball of Silsbee, Charles Robin "Rob" Newland, Jr. (Theresa) of Leesburg, Christopher Newland of Leesburg and Richenda Lee Newland of Leesburg; his grandchildren, J. R., Josh, Jon, Megan, Taylor, Andrew, Selina, David, Jaden and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Jaydn, Bentlee, Vanna Jo, Violet and Adalynn; and his brother D. William "Bill" Newland (Karen). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
