He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira and Melissa; and his siblings, Dewey, James, Earl, Carl, Leslie Sparks, Dorothy, Ollie and Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his children, David Sparks (Jennifer) of Berea, KY, Darrin Sparks (Tammy) of Lebanon, Diana Flint of Lebanon and Darlene Snapp (Billy Nickell) of Oregonia; his siblings, Bill Sparks, Gladys Rice, Hazel Rice and Ruth Shelton; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Dustin, Ryanne, Joe, Beverly, Heather, Amber, Courtney, Hailey, Megan, Rachel and Hannah. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
