It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Elizabeth Bendel (Lebanon, Ohio), who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Charles and Mary Bertha; and her husband Bill Bendel. She is survived by: her children, William J. Bendel, III (Gretchen) of Lebanon, Ohio, Patrice Hone (Mike) of Prospect, PA, Mariangela Schappacher (Leo) of Greenfield, Ohio and Bridgette Lajoye (Paul) of Verona, KY; and her sister Gabrielle Strand of Liberty Twp. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and soon-to-be 28 great-grandchildren.
She loved music, singing and performing with her sisters, ad libbing for grandkids at the piano, and continued to sing and remember lyrics long into her battle with Alzheimer's.
