He is survived by: his parents, William Brooks and Susan "Rachel" Brooks (Smith); his wife Leah; his stepchildren, Jack and Anna; his siblings, Stephanie Felts (Christopher) and Michael Brooks (Gretchen); and his nieces, Rachel Adkins, Caitlyn Adkins, Sarah Adkins, Audrey Brooks, Abigail Brooks and Amelia Brooks. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
