James R. VanDeGrift Obituary
We bid farewell to James R. VanDeGrift of Lebanon, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 13, 2024 at the age of 85. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice S. Lou and Mary Lou; and his brother Faren VanDeGrift. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie; his children, Ty J VanDeGrift (Mary Edith) of Valrico, FL, Jami Rose Rotello (Thomas) of Lebanon and Dana Lynn Cropper (Spencer) of Lebanon; his sister Myra Jean Paulus of Greenville, OH; and his grandchildren, Maria Rotello Collins (Ian), Grace VanDeGrift, Trey VanDeGrift (Jenna), Hanah Rotello, Amery VanDeGrift, Roselen Rotello, Josie Cropper, Sophie Cropper, TJ Rotello and Lily Cropper.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church (123 N East St, Lebanon, OH 45036). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lebanon District Event Center (160 Miller Rd, Lebanon, OH 45036).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be directed to the Warren County Foundation, c/o Onward Lebanon/VanDeGrift Fund, P.O. Box 495, Lebanon, OH, 45036.
