He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Hoover and Mae Hoover (Cutright); his wife Patty Critchfield; his daughter Barbara Bradley; and his grandson Jesse Heck.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah G. Heck (Jerry) of Bristolville and Pamela L. Edmiston (George) of Kent; his grandchildren, Amber McRoberts, Mallory Grafton (Derrick) and Anthony Edmiston; and his great grandchildren, Taylor and Angie McRoberts.
