He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick James and Zella L. Elza (Collins); his wife Marion Maxine Elza (Moore); his sons, Dwaine Elza and John Weddle; and his sibling Angel (Jessica).
He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Keegan, Denise Burns (John), Eric Elza, Nicole L. Parker-Elza and Duane Weddle; and his brother Neven Elza (Jolene). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
