He was predeceased by: his parents, Esker Ray, Sr. and Mary Powers (Bodkin); and his sisters, Genevieve, Madelyn, Barbara, Merle, Helen, Phyllis and Pearl.
He is survived by: his spouse Betty Jo Hoard; his daughters, Rebecca L. Powers of Champion and Brenda S. Powers of Champion; his siblings, George Powers (Barbara) of Prescott, AZ and Bernice Derico of East Orwell, OH; his grandchildren, Kevin (Miranda), Stephen, Christopher Tenney (Samantha Barnhart), Courtney and Erin Goebel; and his great grandchild Wynnette Jo Tenney.
In lieu of flowers Ray's family requests that material contributions be made to the Warren Baptist Temple, 2093 Ewalt Ave. NE, Warren, OH 44483, in his memory.
