Violet Thompson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Violet Thompson of Laurelville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Poling and Mildred Poling; her husband Norman; her son David R. Thompson; and her siblings, Amy Karr, Mona Hettinger, Donna Swackhammer, Norman, Bernard, Gerry, Garry, Clyde and Lloyd Poling.
She is survived by: her son Terry (Karen) of Circleville; her grandchildren, Kimberly of Tempe and Travis (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Treyton and Pia of Laurelville; her granddaughter Kelly (Steve Kwasny) of Scottsdale; and her siblings, Wanda Johnson, Delbert Poling (Arlene), Jerald "Pete" Poling (Bobbie) and Janet Amerine. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Laurel Hills United Methodist Church.
