She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur D. Garrison and Henrietta Edmiston; her spouse Elsworth E. Kempton; her son Larry Allen Kempton; her granddaughter Staci Ann Kempton; her sisters, Betty Kempton (Harry) and Dorothy Stevens (Earl); her children-in-law, Mary Kempton and Kenny Moss, Jr.; and her stepfather I. J. Edmiston.
She is survived by: her children, Teddy V. Kempton, D. Michael Kempton (Linda) and Linda A. Moss; her grandchildren, Christina Garrett (Greg), Brian Kempton (Nadine), Kevin Kempton (Dee), Rodney Kempton, Nick Kempton (Jennifer) and Rachel Fitchpatrick (Herb); and her stepgranddaughters, Tami Moats (Ray), Angie Schoonover (Eric) and Amy Hyme (Tom). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
