He was predeceased by: his parents, Lem Elkins and Rebecca Elkins (Finley); his siblings, Allene Ross, Bill Elkins, Peggy Newman and Betty Peters; and his granddaughter Tara Lowery.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elkins (Harper); his children, Lawrence "Boob" Elkins (Tammy), Karen Elkins (Mark), Mike Elkins (Suzanne), Chris Elkins (Mary) and Sharon Karshner (Chuck); and his sister Linda Tipton (Harold). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 - 7 p. m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston, with visitors maintaining social distancing and wearing face coverings.
