He is survived by: his wife Betty Platz (Gleaton); his children, Susan Stephenson (Bill), David Platz (Mickey Jee), Donna Collier, Mary Brokaw, Bobby Platz (Helen) and Kris Hamner; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Poupart (Leo), Scott Hart, Beth Smith (Justin), Rachael Brown (BJ), Ryan Brokaw (Samantha), Angie Hines (Jeff), Shelby Minshall (Will), Mandy Platz, Martin, Jonah Platz, Jerica Platz, Brianna Hamner, Dimitri Hutchison and Cyranda Hutchison. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
