He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Poling and Ethel Poling (Stevens); and his siblings, Leo, Marvin, Wilma, Ruth, Shirley and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Tonya Poling (Johnson); his children, Steven Poling (Krista), Marty Poling and Kendall Poling; his grandchildren, Troy, Jacob, Colton, Jessica, Paige, Joey, Aaron and Travis; his stepchildren, Trini Beaver (Brad), Kris Tripp (David), Terrel Edwards (Mark), Troy Hayes (Kim) and Jeremy Majors (Crystal); his close friends, Bev, Lawrence Payne, Charlie and Vicki Davis; and also, Charlie and Sharon Fast. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Laurelville Fire Department in George's name.
