She was predeceased by: her parents, David Atwell and Helen Ackley Atwell; her husband Cecil R. Sanborn; her stepson Jeff Sanborn; and her sister Hazel.

She is survived by: her children, David Fowler of Laurelville, Scott Fowler of Columbus, Debra Little of Columbus and Sheila Sanborn of Laurelville; and her sister Patricia Steward of Sunbury, Ohio.. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
