He is survived by: his wife Mary Gaines (Cassidy); his brother Dale (Betty); his children, Eric Gaines (Thelma) of Fayetteville and Susan Gaines; his grandchildren, Arletha Miller (Josh), Justin Gaines and Harleigh Eads (Jimmy); and his great grandchildren, Austin Miller and Mailey Lou Carter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, life-long friends and many other friends.
