He was predeceased by: his birth father Danny E. Bowers; and his nephew Westley McKinley. He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Myles and Christine Wheatley (Willcox); his wife Ashley Nicole Wheatley (Blackstone); his children, Randa Leonard (William) of Logan, Corbin Smith (Peyton Cruse) of Athens, Ohio and Nicholus Stephen Wheatley of Columbus, Ohio; his grandson Declan Cruse; and his siblings, Tina Manley (John), Tracee McKinley (Willie), Kristina Goforth, Arthur Leark and Stephen Wheatley II (Nicole). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
