He is survived by: his sons, Ted (Rae Jeanne), Tod Shaffer (Mary) and Mige Shaffer; his grandchildren, Joshua (Alena), Jacob (Amanda), Ashley Shaffer, Megan Smith (Cody), Lindsey Douglas (Adam) and Evelyn Shaffer; his great grandchildren, Rilee, Piper Smith, Helena, Amber McCoy, Josie, Jon Shaffer and Isaac Good; and his brothers, Bill (June), Glenn (Ginny) and Jim Shaffer (Wanda).
