He was predeceased by: his parents, Acie Adams and Hazel Adams (Wilks); his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Grace Adams; his sister Ellen; his brother-in-law Bill Higgins; the mother of his children Dixie Adams (Humphrey); and his son-in-law Dennis Myers.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Adams (Brian), Janet Myers, Joyce Fisher (Jim) and Jerry Adams (Debbie); his grandchildren, Rachel Wooding (Matt), Rebecca Sigler (D. J.), Jeffery Butts (Heather), Emmalynn Fisher, Daniel and Nathan Adams; his great grandchildren, Joshua Sigler, Lucas Wooding, Colston Miller, Cora, Cameryn Butts and Avalee Fisher; his brothers, Roy Adams (Rosie), Jolly Adams (Loraine) and Matthew Adams (Susan); and also Pastoring Laurelville Tabernacle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
