She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Platz; her parents, Robert Evans and Lucille Evans (Tyree); her daughter Amy Karr; her granddaughter Chelsea Karr; her son-in-law Bill Stephenson; and her brother Bill Gleaton.
She is survived by: her sister Joanna Ginn (Bruce); her children, Susan Stephenson, David Platz (Mickey Jee), Donna Collier, Mary Brokaw, Bobby Platz (Helen) and Kris Hamner; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Poupart (Leo), Scott Hart, Beth Smith (Justin), Rachael Brown (BJ), Ryan Brokaw (Samantha), Angie Hines (Jeff), Treaver Karr (Megan), Shelby Minshall (Will), Mandy Platz-Martin, Jonah Platz, Jerica Platz, Brianna Hamner, Dimitri Hutchison and Cyranda Hutchison. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
