He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Brumbaugh and Susan Brumbaugh (Bashore); his son-in-law Randy Pierce; and his siblings, Shirley Wherley, Linda Sherick, Ed and Calvin Brumbaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Brumbaugh (Mead); his children, Dan Brumbaugh (Joy), Jerry Brumbaugh (Karen), Rick Brumbaugh and Donna Pierce; his siblings, Alice Middlestetter and Herb Brumbaugh; and his grandchildren, Jaime Melton (Aaron), Justin Pierce (Kara), Lindsay Pollard (Michael), Shelby Brumbaugh (Zachery Shields) and Rick Evans (Carrie). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
