He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd B. O'Dell and Doris G. O'Dell (Feitshans); his son Kevin O'Dell; and his siblings, Karen Altic, Joan O'Dell and Tim O'Dell.

He is survived by: his wife Martha "Marty" O'Dell (Eberle); his daughter Megan Crouch (Gary) of Trenton; his grandchildren, Jonothan, Shane O'Dell, Dylan, Cassidy and Carly Crouch; and his sister Janie McCullough.
