He is survived by: his wife Laura Stanley (Markel); his daughters, Amanda, Sabrina and Jessica Stanley; his siblings, Phyllis Skeen (Ken), Jack Stanley, Barb Fairhurst (Steve), Tim Stanley (Bev), Trish Landmesser (Dan), Tammy Ramsey and Vivian Robinson; his mother-in-law Barb Markel; and his brother-in-law David Markel (Wendy). He is also survived by 40 nieces and nephews; and many aunts and uncles.
