It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary D. Brookey of Laura, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Gerald E. Brookey; and his grandparents, Walter, Rebecca Brookey, Paul and Ruth Matthews.

He is survived by: his mother Doris M. Brookey (Matthews) of Dayton; his wife Sandy; his children, Gary Brookey, II of Beavercreek, Amanda Dick (Joe) of Bethel Twp and Matthew Brookey (Tiffany) of Monroe Twp; and his grandchildren, Matthew II, Zoe, Mia and Oliver. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
