He was predeceased by: his parents, Leigh Holmes and Laura Shank (Kolb). He is survived by: his wife Mary Josephine Shank (Brady); and his children, Frederick, Jr. (Sally Shank), Becky (Odell Prince) and Ray (Kelly Shank). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
