He is survived by: his wife Laura Fairbanks; his children, Sherri Kruger and Ed Fairbanks Jr.; his grandchildren, Ashley Fairbanks and Lauren Magnus; his great grandchild Isabella Shiner; and his siblings, Ronald Fairbanks, Joseph Fairbanks (Clara), Darlene Barber (William) and Janet Faul.
