With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris A Rice of Laura, Ohio, born in Union City, Indiana, who passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel A. Newbauer and Eileen M. Newbauer (Marshall); her husband Ronald D. Rice; her siblings, Rose M. Dockery, Michael A. Newbaurer and Steven D. Newbauer; and her son-in-law Anthony Black.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca L. Black of West Milton and Wendy S. Fields (Joseph) of Laura; her grandchildren, Nathan Fields (Brandi), Nicholas Fields (Cori), Allison Schwartz (Matt) and Amanda Black; her great grandchildren, Easton, Emmett, Elliott and Avery; her brother Philip Newbauer (Fonda J.) of Greenville; and her siblings-in-law, Linda K. Newbauer of Greenville and Larry Dockery of Warsaw, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
